The factory exhaust, though, is designed to deliberately suppress sound pressure through its silencers.The engine has the character, but the exhaust note alone falls short. The TODOROKI™ SINGLE has no valved exhaust. This is not a stripped-down specification, butA grade built on a different design philosophy.

A valved exhaust is a mechanism for switching volume, but the trade-off isMoving parts and electronics are placed partway along the exhaust path. The valve itself, the actuator, the wiring, the controller — all of these sit in a place that's constantly exposed to heat and vibration.

In a configuration without a valve, none of these exist in the first place.Nothing to fail, and no wiring work required. Installation is completed simply by reconfiguring the exhaust system. In return,There's no option to drive quietly. The volume is the same at cold start as it is through a residential street. If you want to change it to suit the situation, choose TODOROKI™ VALVE RS.

This product's mid-pipe isStraight-through constructionis such a path. It has no resonator and no bends, sending exhaust straight from the catalytic converter to the silencer.

In a configuration that narrows the exit to a single pipe, every branch and merge point directly adds resistance.Instead of splitting left and right, it runs the shortest distance through a single pathA single exit is structurally advantageous in this respect. Since it also has no moving parts such as a valve,Nothing in the path obstructs the exhaust.

The factory M2 Competition F87 has a quad-exit layout, two per side. This product consolidates that into a single exit.the length of the exhaust path, the weight at the rear of the car, and the directionality of the sound all change. Where four tips spread the sound left and right, a single exit releases it from one point, so it sounds more concentrated.

This is a configuration people feel strongly about either way. If you want to keep the factory quad-exit look, consider TODOROKI™ S (¥189,800), which is also valveless.

• Straight Mid-pipe: no resonators, no bends, no resistance. Gas velocity is carried through to the silencer intact, so the system is far less likely to choke high in the rev range
• An exhaust path with no moving parts: Since there is no valve, nothing obstructs the exhaust path. The exhaust follows the same path across the entire rev range
• Silencer Internal Structure: packed with heat-resistant stainless wool and sound-absorbing fibre. Compared with ordinary glass wool it degrades far less under heat, so silencing performance holds up over the long term
• Single-exit: Consolidates the outlets into a single exit. This fundamentally changes the rear-end impression compared with the factory quad-exit layout
• Cat-back Structure: The factory catalytic converter is left in place, replacing only the section downstream of it. As it uses the factory hanger positions, no modification to the vehicle is required

Exhaust fitment precision is determined by the actual car, not by drawings. This productDesigned from 3D scan data of an actual car's underbody. Factory hanger positions, floor geometry and clearance to the rear bumper aperture are all pinned down from measured values, so it fits without modifying the car.Because a single-exit layout differs greatly from the factory routing, this measurement accuracy directly determines whether it fits.

Welding isFully TIG-welded at high temperature. The base material is SUS304 stainless steel at a full 1.5mm wall thickness. An exhaust takes heat and vibration continuously, so the quality of every joint is the durability of the system.

In the S55, two turbos each serve three cylinders. Gas leaving the left and right banks passes through separate turbines before flowing downstream.How the exhaust processed separately on each side is finally brought together — this is what determines the sound. A straight-through configuration that consolidates into one pipe is the answer for those who prioritise flow above all else.

A straight-six also fires at even intervals, so first- and second-order vibrations cancel each other naturally. Being able to raise sound pressure without touching that smoothness is the single biggest reason to pair a free-flowing exhaust with a straight-six. Because the M2 Competition packages the S55 into a short wheelbase, The significance of reducing rear-end weight is also greater than on other M models.

Removing and installing the exhaust requires specialised tools and a lift. We strongly recommend installation by a workshop or pro shop with the relevant expertise.

This product has no valve, so no wiring work is needed. On cars with a factory valve, however, removing it may trigger a warning light, in which case a canceller or similar solution will be required.

As these are built to order, shipping after order confirmation typically takes2–4 weeks. Customisation, production and logistics can push this beyond the stated period. If you are working to a deadline, talk to us before ordering.
