Product Overview

The S58 is a 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six — the current M engine, fitted to the M3 G80/G81 and M4 G82/G83. A closed-deck block and forged crank make it a substantially different animal from the S55. The factory exhaust, though, has to carry both emissions compliance, OPF included, and noise regulation.Only the exhaust note is being suppressed relative to the engine's true character. This is the source of the first disappointment most owners notice on the G8X.

The TODOROKI™ SINGLE TITANIUM replaces everything downstream of the catalytic converter withTitanium single-exitA cat-back exhaust system that replaces it with the above.A configuration without a valved exhaust, built with circuit driving in mindThis is the case. Pursuing only weight reduction and exhaust efficiency, it's the most stripped-down, focused grade in the TODOROKI™ lineup.

This productMade to orderThis is made to order. Once your order is confirmed, we build one unit exactly to your chosen specification.

Titanium as a material

Titanium has a density of about 4.5, versus stainless steel's approximately 7.9—is only a little over halfMade in the same shape, this alone significantly reduces weight.

Furthermore, this product1.2 mm wall thicknessThat's the figure. Since TODOROKI™'s stainless steel grades use 1.5mm wall thickness, lighter in both material density and wall thicknessThis is the result. Because titanium's high strength allows thinner walls, this works as a double weight saving.

The exhaust is a component mounted at the very rear of the car.Even at the same weight, the impact on handling is greater than if it were mounted at the centre of the caris positioned there. This is a part that affects both front-rear weight distribution and the moment of inertia at play when cornering.

The sound quality also changes. Titanium, compared to stainless steel,The top end extends furtherthere's a tendency for the same structure to produce a different resonance. The surface isPolished finish, and as heat builds up, straw colouring appears around the welds.

Choosing to go without a valve

This product has no valve. This isn't a cut feature, but ratherDesign built around circuit driving.

A valved exhaust is a mechanism for switching volume, but the trade-off isMoving parts and electronics are placed partway along the exhaust path. The valve body, the actuator, the wiring, the controller — all of them sit in a location constantly exposed to heat and vibration, andthe resulting weight comes to.

If you are choosing titanium to save weight, there is no reason to carry that mechanism. In a system without a valve, there is no moving part and no electronics to begin with. There's nothing to fail, no wiring is needed, and it's lighter as a result. There is nothing in the exhaust path that blocks the flow.

In return,There's no option to drive quietly. The volume is the same at cold start as it is through a residential street. If the car is mostly used on the road and you want to change the volume to suit, choose TODOROKI™ VALVE RS TITANIUM.

The choice of a single exit

The factory M3 G80 / M4 G82 use a quad-exit layout. This product takes thisA configuration that consolidates into a single exit.

Changing the number of tips is not simply a design change.the length of the exhaust path, the weight at the rear of the car, and the directionality of the sound all change. With no split or merge across the car, gas exits by the shortest possible route. Where a quad-exit system scatters sound to either side, a single exit releases it from one point — and the note reads as concentrated.

The S58 has two turbos, each handling three cylinders. How the exhaust from the left and right banks is ultimately brought together.A configuration that consolidates into one pipe is the answer that prioritises flow above all.

How the Sound Changes
  • Titanium Exhaust Path: Compared to stainless steel, the high frequencies tend to extend further, so even with the same structure, the sound changes
  • An exhaust path with no moving parts: Since there is no valve, nothing obstructs the exhaust path. The exhaust follows the same path across the entire rev range
  • Single-exit: Consolidates the outlets into a single exit. This fundamentally changes the rear-end impression compared with the factory quad-exit layout
  • Cat-back Structure: The factory catalytic converter is left in place, replacing only the section downstream of it. As it uses the factory hanger positions, no modification to the vehicle is required
Designed from an actual chassis

Exhaust fitment precision is determined by the actual car, not by drawings. This productDesigned based on the actual car's chassisand,Uses the factory mounting points as-is. Factory hanger positions, floor geometry and clearance to the rear bumper aperture are all pinned down from measured values, so it fits without modifying the car.Because a single-exit layout differs greatly from the factory routing, this measurement accuracy directly determines whether it fits.

Welding isHigh-temperature TIG WeldingTitanium becomes brittle when exposed to air during welding, making it a material that demands even more rigorous workmanship than stainless steel.Every unit is inspected before shipping. Besides the standard pipe diameter, changes can also be made on request.

How to choose a grade

6 grades are available for the M3 G80/G81 and M4 G82/G83 (S58).With or without a valved exhaustandNumber of Tips, andMaterialplease choose accordingly.

Grade Price What's Included, and Who It's For
TODOROKI™ SINGLE ¥159,800 No valve, straight-through, single exit. SUS304 stainless steel. A standard-material version sharing the same philosophy as this item
TODOROKI™ REAR ¥189,800 A valved rear-section-only replacement. For those who want to change the sound with minimal change
TODOROKI™ VALVE S ¥229,800 Valved cat-back. 4-tip. A configuration with a narrower spec range that keeps the price down
TODOROKI™ VALVE RS ¥279,800 Z-pipe equal-length mid-pipe + valved exhaust. Choose from 5 mid-pipe types and 7 tip finishes. The flagship grade
TODOROKI™ SINGLE TITANIUM ¥289,800 This product. No valve, single-exit, full titanium. For those who prioritise weight reduction and exhaust efficiency above all
TODOROKI™ VALVE RS TITANIUM ¥379,800 Z-pipe equal-length mid-pipe, quad-exit, built entirely in titanium. Choose from 5 titanium finishes

⚠️ This product and the SINGLE do not fit the M2 G87. REAR, VALVE S, VALVE RS and VALVE RS TITANIUM also fit the G87. Single-exit systems are listed separately because the rear-end structure differs from car to car.

The difference between the two titanium grades isValved exhaust or not, and number of tips. If the car mostly runs on track and weight comes first, this is the one. If it mostly runs on the road and you want to switch the volume, choose VALVE RS TITANIUM.

The thinking behind the TODOROKI™ SINGLE TITANIUM

SINGLE TITANIUM chases two things only: lightness and flow. There is no valve, no moving part — everything goes into material and construction. The silencer body features the TODOROKI™ logo. As a brand, we apply this to every product regardless of price point.

Focusing exclusively on BMW lets us share jigs and validation processes across products, and reading demand chassis by chassis removes the losses that come with small-batch production. Optimising every stage — administration, manufacturing and shipping — is what makes this price possible.

Fitment

BMW M3 G80/G81 / M4 G82/G83 (S58)Purpose-built design.

⚠️ Not compatible with the M2 G87.Single-exit systems differ because the rear-end structure varies from car to car. For the M2 G87, consider TODOROKI™ REAR, VALVE S or VALVE RS.

BIMMER+ organises its collections by chassis code. Search from your own chassis and only the parts that fit will appear. Model year, trim and prior modifications may mean some adjustment is needed at fitting, so please ask before you buy if anything is unclear.

Pricing and Shipping

The listed priceShipping, customs duties, and customs clearance fees are all included. There are no additional costs after the product arrives.

Exhausts are bulky and heavy, and shipping alone runs to around ¥20,000. Some sellers bill freight and domestic forwarding separately from the product price; BIMMER+ quotes one all-inclusive figure.

After Your Purchase

After your purchase, be sure to"Vehicle model / year / VIN" via our contact form. Even if you do not want any customisation, please still get in touch so we can identify your car.

About Installation

Removing and installing the exhaust requires specialised tools and a lift. We strongly recommend installation by a workshop or pro shop with the relevant expertise.

This product has no valve, so no wiring work is needed. On cars with a factory valve, however, removing it may trigger a warning light, in which case a canceller or similar solution will be required.

About Lead Time

As these are built to order, shipping after order confirmation typically takes2–4 weeks. Customisation, production and logistics can push this beyond the stated period. If you are working to a deadline, talk to us before ordering.

- This product is intended for off-road and motorsport use. For road use, check that it complies with the noise and emissions regulations in your region. On cars subject to Japan's post-April 2010 acceleration noise regulations, it may not pass roadworthiness inspection.
- This product has no valved exhaust, so volume cannot be reduced. Please check your usage environment before choosing.
- Titanium's surface colour changes with heat. Discolouration around the welds is a characteristic of the material, not a defect.
- Depending on the vehicle's condition, year, and modification history, additional adjustment may be required at installation.
- Exhaust parts are wear items. Please check regularly for exhaust leaks.
