TODOROKI™ VALVE S Made-to-Order Cat-Back Valved Exhaust|BMW M3 G80/G81 / M4 G82/G83 / M2 G87 (S58)
The S58 is a 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six, generating thick torque from low revs. The factory exhaust, though, deliberately suppresses sound pressure with an OPF and silencers. Accelerate and nothing follows. That first sense of something missing in a G80, G81, G82, G83 or G87 comes from the exhaust, not the engine.
TODOROKI™ VALVE S is a cat-back system that replaces everything after the catalytic converter. With an electronically controlled valve fitted, it is as quiet as factory when closed and lets the S58's real voice rise when open.A grade that, by narrowing the specification, brings a valved cat-back exhaust in at ¥229,800.
This productMade to orderThis is made to order. Once your order is confirmed, we build one unit exactly to your chosen specification.
VALVE S is the grade with a clearly defined target for cost reduction. Anything that contributes nothing to performance or sound is stripped out, from design through to shipping.
- Specification fixed to a single configuration: where the higher grades let you choose the mid-pipe configuration, VALVE S offers one specification. A fixed process means lower manufacturing cost
- Focused exclusively on BMW: rather than broadening the range, we read which BMW chassis actually sell and build accordingly. Jigs and validation are shared, and the waste of small-batch production disappears
- All-inclusive pricing that factors in shipping as well: with something as bulky as an exhaust, freight moves the price considerably. We design the packaging and shipping method as part of the product and quote one all-inclusive figure
The only thing reduced is the range of specifications. SUS304 stainless steel, fully TIG-welded, an electronically controlled valve, right down to the TODOROKI™ logo — identical to the higher grades.
In the TODOROKI™ lineup for the G80 / G81 / G82 / G83 / G87,VALVE S is the only grade that supports fitting the OPF sensor. We also support machining mounting holes for sensors.
The higher VALVE RS and VALVE RS TITANIUM grades use a different mid-pipe structure and cannot accommodate a relocated sensor. If your car has an OPF (petrol particulate filter) sensor and you want to keep the factory sensor in use, this is the grade to choose regardless of price.
The OPF is an emissions device introduced with the G-chassis generation. Whether one is fitted depends on market, model year and trim, so please ask before ordering if you want the sensor bung machined, or if you are unsure whether your car has an OPF sensor.
- Full Cat-back Replacement: the factory catalytic converter stays; everything after it is replaced. Unlike a rear-section-only swap, this rebuilds the gas flow as far forward as the mid-pipe, so the swing in both volume and character is much wider
- Electronically controlled valve: switches the exhaust path just before the silencer. Closed, gas runs the quiet route through the silencer; open, it takes the straight path — so volume and character change together. Switch whenever you like from the remote
- Uses the factory hanger position: A bolt-on design that requires no modification to the vehicle
What most often leads to regret with an exhaust swap isDrone during high-speed cruising. At certain engine speeds, low frequencies resonate inside the cabin and make conversation or music hard to follow — and the more a system prioritises flow, the more likely it is to happen.
TODOROKI™ VALVE SThe centre silencer's volume and internal structure suppress this frequency band. With the valve closed, drone is barely noticeable during high-speed cruising. This matters most for those who regularly drive long distances.
Fitment accuracy on an exhaust is settled by the actual car, not by a drawing. The TODOROKI™ system for the G80, G81, G82, G83 and G87 is Designed from 3D scan data of an actual car's underbody. Factory hanger positions, floor geometry and clearance to the rear bumper aperture are all pinned down from measured values, so it fits without modifying the car.
Welding isFully TIG-welded at high temperature. Even on the entry-level grade, the joints are finished to the same standard as the higher grades.
In the S58, two turbos each serve three cylinders. Gas that has passed through a turbine has already given up pressure and energy, so what happens downstream determines a great deal about how the car sounds. Replacing everything after the catalytic converter in one go is therefore the most effective approach.
A straight-six also fires at even intervals, so first- and second-order vibrations cancel each other naturally. Raising sound pressure without disturbing that smoothness is the single biggest reason to pair a free-flowing exhaust with a straight-six.
| Grade | Price | What's Included, and Who It's For |
|---|---|---|
| TODOROKI™ REAR | ¥189,800 | A configuration that replaces only the rear section. For those who want to change the sound and look with minimal investment. Equipped with a valved system |
| TODOROKI™ VALVE S | ¥229,800 | This product. An affordable version of the full cat-back replacement. A grade with a narrower spec range that passes the cost savings on to price |
| TODOROKI™ VALVE RS | ¥279,800 | The flagship grade, with a choice of 5 mid-pipe types. Z-pipe plus equal-length design balances sound quality and performance |
| TODOROKI™ VALVE RS TITANIUM | ¥379,800 | Same construction as RS, in Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V). For anyone after the weight saving and the high-frequency edge that only titanium gives. Five titanium finishes available |
The difference between the VALVE S and VALVE RS isWhether or not you can choose the mid-pipe configuration. Absolute quiet through residential streets, or maximum flow on track — if you have a specific objective like that, look at VALVE RS. If the requirement is simply a valved cat-back system, VALVE S will satisfy it comfortably.
TODOROKI™ is made to order, one car's worth at a time, in partnership with our production facility. Fabrication begins once your order is confirmed, and BIMMER+ selects and inspects every specification before dispatch.

BIMMER+ organises its collections by chassis code. Search from your own chassis and only the parts that fit will appear. Model year, trim and prior modifications may mean some adjustment is needed at fitting, so please ask before you buy if anything is unclear.
The listed priceShipping, customs duties, and customs clearance fees are all included. There are no additional costs after the product arrives.
Exhausts are bulky and heavy, and shipping alone runs to around ¥20,000. Some sellers bill freight and domestic forwarding separately from the product price; BIMMER+ quotes one all-inclusive figure.
After your purchase, be sure to"Vehicle model / year / VIN" via our contact form. Even if you do not want any customisation, please still get in touch so we can identify your car.
Removing and fitting an exhaust requires specialist tools and a lift. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified workshop or specialist. Wiring for the valve controller is also involved, so if you are not confident about fitting it yourself, please use a professional.
On cars with a factory valve, removing it may trigger a warning light. If that happens, a canceller or similar solution will be required.
As these are built to order, shipping after order confirmation typically takes2–4 weeks. Customisation, production and logistics can push this beyond the stated period. If you are working to a deadline, talk to us before ordering.
- Depending on the vehicle's condition, year, and modification history, additional adjustment may be required at installation.
- Weld discolouration and finish may vary slightly between units.
- Exhaust parts are wear items. Please carry out regular checks for exhaust leaks and insulate wiring as needed.
