The F20 / F21The last rear-wheel-drive 1 Series. With the following F40 generation moving to front-wheel drive, the compact rear-drive hatch ended with this car. The engine fitted to the 116i and 118i N13 is a 1.6-litre turbocharged four. Small in capacity, but a genuinely well-engineered unit with a twin-scroll turbo and Valvetronic.

The factory exhaust, meanwhile, in relation to this character,Almost no sound is being shaped. To differentiate from the higher grades, exhaust note on the 116i / 118i is kept to the minimum necessary.

The TODOROKI™ SINGLE has no valved exhaust. This is not a stripped-down specification, butA grade built on a different design philosophy.

A valved exhaust is a mechanism for switching volume, but the trade-off isMoving parts and electronics are placed partway along the exhaust path. The valve itself, the actuator, the wiring, the controller — all of these sit in a place that's constantly exposed to heat and vibration.

In a configuration without a valve, none of these exist in the first place.Nothing to fail, and no wiring work requiredInstallation is completed simply by reconfiguring the exhaust system.

In return,There's no option to drive quietly. The volume is the same at cold start as it is through a residential street. If you want to change it to suit the situation, choose the valved TODOROKI™ VALVE S (¥159,800).

• 70mm straight construction: A path with no resistance from a resonator or bends. It carries the exhaust to the silencer while maintaining flow velocity
• An exhaust path with no moving parts: Since there is no valve, nothing obstructs the exhaust path. The exhaust follows the same path across the entire rev range
• Single-exit: Consolidates the exit into a single pipe. The sound concentrates into one point, giving the crisp, distinct pulses characteristic of an inline-four
• Cat-back Structure: The factory catalytic converter is left in place, replacing only the section downstream of it. As it uses the factory hanger positions, no modification to the vehicle is required

The base material is SUS304 stainless steel. The welding isTIG-welded, and100% Inspection Before ShippingThis is carried out. The surface combines a brushed and polished finish.

Installation isUses the factory mounting points as-is. No modification or welding to the car is required.

Two grades are available for the 116i / 118i F20, F21 (N13).With or without a valved exhaustplease choose accordingly.

Removing and fitting an exhaust requires specialist tools and a lift. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified workshop or specialist. This product has no valve, so no wiring work is needed.
