TODOROKI™ S Made-to-Order Sport Exhaust|BMW M2 Competition F87 (S55)
The S55 in the M2 Competition is the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six found in the M3 F80 and M4 F82.The same M engine is fitted to a shorter, lighter body than the M3 / M4. That single fact is what makes the M2 Competition special. The 7,600rpm ceiling and the clean rev-out despite forced induction are pure S55 as well. The factory exhaust, though, is designed to deliberately suppress sound pressure through its silencers. The engine has the character, but the exhaust note alone falls short. This is the source of the first thing that feels lacking on the M2 Competition.
The TODOROKI™ S replaces everything after the catalytic converterQuad-exit cat-back systemThe straight-structured mid-pipe guides the exhaust the shortest distance.A configuration with no valved exhaust, always open.
This productMade to orderThis is made to order. Once your order is confirmed, we build one unit exactly to your chosen specification.
A valved system is a convenient mechanism. In practice, though, it'sThe actuator, wiring, and controllerIt also means carrying moving parts and electronics within the exhaust system.
The TODOROKI™ S does not have this.always in the open position. Regardless of drive mode or time of day, it always produces the same sound. For those who don't need switching, this is the most straightforward configuration.
- The Structure is Simple: With no moving parts or electronics, there is nothing to fail
- Easy to install: With no wiring work required, installation time is reduced
- Reflected in the Price: The price difference from the valved VALVE RS is¥90,000. Removing the mechanism is reflected directly in the price
Being permanently open, conversely, meansThere's No Option to Run Quietly. If you drive through residential streets, start the car early in the morning, or simply want to switch the volume, choose TODOROKI™ VALVE RS or above, which come with a valve.
- Straight Mid-pipe: no resonators, no bends, no resistance. Gas velocity is carried through to the silencer intact, so the system is far less likely to choke high in the rev range
- Silencer Internal Structure: packed with heat-resistant stainless wool and sound-absorbing fibre. Compared with ordinary glass wool it degrades far less under heat, so silencing performance holds up over the long term. On this product, which has no valve, This internal structure handles all the silencing
- Centre exhaust: A single silencer is positioned at the centre of the car. Exhaust always routes through it
- Permanently open: Has no mechanism to switch the exhaust path. From start-up to high rpm, the exhaust always follows the same path
- Quad-exit: Exhaust exits through four tips, two on each side. This configuration secures exhaust efficiency while achieving an appearance befitting an M model
- Cat-back Structure: The factory catalytic converter is left in place, replacing only the section downstream of it. As it uses the factory hanger positions, no modification to the vehicle is required
Exhaust fitment precision is determined by the actual car, not by drawings. TODOROKI™'s unit for the M2 Competition F87,Designed from 3D scan data of an actual car's underbody. Factory hanger positions, floor geometry and clearance to the rear bumper aperture are all pinned down from measured values, so it fits without modifying the car.
Welding isFully TIG-welded at high temperature. The base material is SUS304 stainless steel at a full 1.5mm wall thickness. An exhaust takes heat and vibration continuously, so the quality of every joint is the durability of the system.
In the S55, two turbos each serve three cylinders. Gas leaving the left and right banks passes through separate turbines before flowing downstream. How cleanly the exhaust flows out downstream. Without the mechanism, the sound comes through unfiltered.
A straight-six also fires at even intervals, so first- and second-order vibrations cancel each other naturally. Being able to raise sound pressure without touching that smoothness is the single biggest reason to pair a free-flowing exhaust with a straight-six.In the M2 Competition, which carries the same S55 in a lighter, shorter body than the M3/M4, changes to the exhaust are easier to feelThis is also an advantage.
| Grade | Price | What's Included, and Who It's For |
|---|---|---|
| TODOROKI™ S | ¥189,800 | This item. A permanently open configuration with no valve. SUS304 stainless steel, 4 tips. Choose from 7 tip finishes |
| TODOROKI™ VALVE RS | ¥279,800 | Z-pipe plus equal-length design. Volume can be switched via an electronically controlled valve |
| TODOROKI™ VALVE RS TITANIUM | ¥349,800 | Grade 5 titanium. A thinner 1.2mm wall than stainless and roughly half the density add up to a substantial weight saving. Two mid-pipe configurations, five titanium finishes |
The price difference between the S and VALVE RS is ¥90,000. That difference comes down to the valved exhaust and mid-pipe type. If there are times you need to drive quietly, or you are often in residential streets or out early, choose VALVE RS or above. If you are happy with the open note all the time, S is the most straightforward choice.
S is built to one standard: carry only what is needed. The valve comes off, the mid-pipe structure is pared back, and what that saves goes into the price. The silencer body features the TODOROKI™ logo. If we are going to put our name on it, it goes on every product regardless of price point. Costs that contribute nothing to performance or sound are not carried; that money goes into material, construction and the price.
Focusing exclusively on BMW lets us share jigs and validation processes across products, and reading demand chassis by chassis removes the losses that come with small-batch production. Optimising every stage — administration, manufacturing and shipping — is what makes this price possible.
TODOROKI™ is made to order, one car's worth at a time, in partnership with our production facility. Fabrication begins once your order is confirmed, and BIMMER+ selects and inspects every specification before dispatch.

We are publishing actual exhaust-note recordings progressively as they become available for each model. If you're in a hurry, please use the contact form to"Vehicle model and chassis" and "sound sample request"Please include this when you contact us. For models we already have a sound sample for, we'll send it as is; for models still in preparation,We prioritise preparation for vehicle models based on customer requests.
BMW M2 Competition F87 (S55)Purpose-built design.
Does not fit the N55-powered M2 (up to 2018). A separate product is available for the M2 (N55).
BIMMER+ organises its collections by chassis code. Search from your own chassis and only the parts that fit will appear. Model year, trim and prior modifications may mean some adjustment is needed at fitting, so please ask before you buy if anything is unclear.
The listed priceShipping, customs duties, and customs clearance fees are all included. There are no additional costs after the product arrives.
Exhausts are bulky and heavy, and shipping alone runs to around ¥20,000. Some sellers bill freight and domestic forwarding separately from the product price; BIMMER+ quotes one all-inclusive figure.
After your purchase, be sure to"Vehicle model / year / VIN" via our contact form. Even if you do not want any customisation, please still get in touch so we can identify your car.
Removing and installing the exhaust requires specialised tools and a lift. We strongly recommend installation by a workshop or pro shop with the relevant expertise. This product has no electronics, so no wiring work is required.
On cars with a factory valve, removing it may trigger a warning light. If that happens, a canceller or similar solution will be required.
As these are built to order, shipping after order confirmation typically takes2–4 weeks. Customisation, production and logistics can push this beyond the stated period. If you are working to a deadline, talk to us before ordering.
- Depending on the vehicle's condition, year, and modification history, additional adjustment may be required at installation.
- Weld discolouration and finish may vary slightly between units.
- Exhaust parts are wear items. Please carry out regular checks for exhaust leaks and insulate wiring as needed.
